If you happen to be one of those people who own a bathtub and/or have a membership at the spa OR have a water heater in your bathroom, good for you.

But if like me, you happen to be one of the women who have neither, fret not. In this time of recession, we all need to make do with our on-hand resources.

Since I work about 10 hours a day, 7 days a week (running a computer shop is no small feat). Warm baths at night are my prime indulgence. Warm water helps relax muscles and give you a good night's sleep.

Here in the Philippines, we usually heat water in the stove and pour it in a pail then let tap water mix with the hot water until the temperature suits our liking.

The only thing you'd do is put a few drops of your favorite aromatherapy oil (mine is still Zen Zest's Tangerine & Peppermint aromatherapy oil, which smells heavenly) in the floor corners of your shower area, try to avoid pouring too much oil... 3-4 drops should do the trick, skidding on slippery tile floors are not nice. Then, close the bathroom door, let the room steamfor a few minutes, upon entering..voila...instant aromatherapy/sauna.

Ok, so that wasn't exactly the most original title I could come up with. Pardon me, but I'm writing this draft at 2:40 in the morning, Smart just basically fucked up my internet service at home (honestly, I blame it with the stupid-ass face of Kim Chiu that's on the call card that I used to load my wireless internet). Had to resort to tinkering with Picasa, and by accident stumbled across one of the numerous music videos I had converted (thank you so much mediaconverter.org for making this possible) from Youtube.

The summer before I started high school, during a really lazy afternoon...I stumbled upon this video on SBN 21 (we didn't have cable tv back then) and at the age of 12, I was so hooked with this song. The video's concept is actually quite literal, but somehow, the personification of the rain  is the sheer beauty of both the song and video.

This is what I seriously miss about the 90's: the music.

But in all honestly, whatever happened to cleverly-penned lyrics?

I went to the nearby ukay shop which is a mere 5 minute walk from the shop. There are two ukay-ukays near the shop, and one was having this major sale to make way for their "new" stocks.

Was able to buy this red Nike jacket for 120 pesos and a grey blouse for 40 bucks. Will post pics of them as soon as they are properly washed.
